LARRY MONSERATE PIOJO
A photographer based in Manila, Philippines. Born and raised in Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, he has honed his craft across a wide spectrum of photography genres, including documentary, photojournalism, street, travel, portraiture, editorial, commercial, and corporate photography.
One of Larry's ongoing personal projects is a poignant exploration of human life under heavy rain showers, capturing the raw struggle, quiet mundanity, and striking beauty that unfold in these moments. As a photojournalist, he has contributed impactful visual narratives to prominent local and international news outlets and agencies, including ABS-CBN News Digital and SIPA Press USA. His documentary work has led to collaborations with esteemed organizations such as UNICEF, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Oxfam, and the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ).
Larry’s contributions to the field were recognized through his service as a board member and officer of the Photojournalists’ Center of the Philippines (PCP) in 2021 and 2022. His exceptional photographs have graced the pages of numerous prestigious local and international publications, both online and in print.
In the editorial and corporate sectors, Larry has collaborated with top agencies like Ogilvy Philippines, 90Seconds, OP Communications, VMLY&R Philippines, ICONS Celebrity Marketing, Perez NuMedia, Inc., and Ideas for Good.
